Join us for a conversation with Natalie Goldberg in celebration of the 30th anniversary edition of her groundbreaking book Writing Down the Bones and her new book, The Great Spring: Writing, Zen, and This Zigzag Life. Writing Down the Bones brought together Zen meditation and writing in a new way. Writing practice, as she calls it, is no different from other forms of Zen practice —“it is backed by two thousand years of studying the mind.” Conversation will conclude with an audience Q&A, a book signing and reception in the Canyon Gallery.
