Lessons of Love, Responsibility, and Family Unfolds During This Performance of Lost in Yonkers

Miners Alley Playhouse began in 1989 as The Morrison Theatre Company. Founder Rick Bernstein and his wife, Paige Larson, moved the company to Golden in 2003, where it became Miners Alley Playhouse. In addition to a beautiful 130-seat theater, the downtown Golden space is also the home of Lillie's Saloon - a full bar and lounge in the lobby of the theater. Lillie's Saloon is open for Happy Hour one hour before showtime and provides a gathering place for the audience before the show. This is also where the cast, crew and audience can mingle after the show.

Whether you choose to start your evening at Lillie’s Saloon is up to you, but either way, on February 8th, Miners Alley Playhouse is proud to present "Lost in Yonkers.”

Created by American playwright and screenwriter Neil Simon, "Lost in Yonkers" is a coming-of-age story set in Yonkers, New York that is centered around two brothers, Arty and Jay. The brothers live with their grandmother and their mentally challenged Aunt Bella, while their father travels, desperately trying to scrape enough money together while working as a salesman to pay off his debts to a loan shark, and their mother has died of cancer. These young boys will learn lessons about love, responsibility and the importance of family that will carry them into adulthood.

The cast, under the direction of Warren Sherrill, includes Ben Feldman, Dee Jimenez, Rory Pierce, Haley Johnson, Deborah Persoff, Damon Guerrasio and MacKenzie Beyer. Tickets are $17-$32 and can be purchased by calling 303-935-3044 or online at
